Minister of State for Information Farrukh Habib has said that today’s report in the foreign funding case of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has refuted the claims of Akbar S. Babar, nothing will come out in the next hearing in the Election Commission.
Talking to Shahzeb Khanzada, the host of Geo News program ‘Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Ke Saath’, Farrukh Habib said that the report did not cover the presence of foreign funding.
He said that a committee was formed under the Supreme Court to investigate the funding of PTI, PML-N and PPP.
Farrukh Habib said that there is a lot of money in the accounts of PTI from when and where, nothing will come up in the next hearing in the Election Commission.
He also said that 4 out of 18 accounts have nothing to do with PTI, out of 310 million we had transferred 150 million from the party’s central account.
