Former Indian cricket team’s batsman Virender Sehwag slammed Bangladesh captain Shakib-ul-Hasan for his statement about upsetting India.
According to Indian media, Virender Sehwag says that Shakib-ul-Hassan would have played till the end like Virat Kohli, or else don’t make such a straightforward statement.
He said that between 99 and 102 runs, three wickets of Bangladesh fell, during which a partnership of 20 runs could have changed the result of the match.
Virender Sehwag says that the Bangladeshi captain made a mistake, the captain should take responsibility for this.
He further said that Shakib-ul-Hasan is a captain and a senior player, he should have shown responsibility at that time.
It should be noted that two days ago Bangladesh cricket team captain Shakib Al Hasan said that if we beat India, it will be an upset and we will try our best to upset the Indian team.
The Bangladesh captain said that if we beat India and Pakistan, it will be an upset because both teams are better than us.
