Babar Azam pays homage to Hafeez

National cricket team captain Babar Azam today paid a heartfelt tribute to Muhammad Hafeez who retired from international cricket.

“Memorable career of Mohammad Hafeez has come to an end. I have learned a lot from the experience of Mohammad Hafeez,” he said in a statement on social media.

The captain of the Pakistan team also wrote that he was grateful to Mohammad Hafeez for his guidance and for spending time on the ground.

He said that retirement would be good for you, Professor.

All-rounder Mohammad Hafeez, who has played 55 Tests, 218 ODIs and 119 T20s for Pakistan, has decided to retire from international cricket altogether.
