The final approval of the amendment to the FIA ​​Act will be taken from the Parliament, after the approval of the amendment by the Parliament, the FIA ​​will be able to act on hate content on social media.

According to the summary, Section 505 of the Pakistan Penal Code is not included in the FIA ​​Act, so this clause should be included. After the amendment, the FIA ​​will also have the authority to take action on any kind of fake news and rumors on social media.

According to the summary, after the approval of the Parliament, the punishment of up to 7 years of imprisonment can be imposed under this law.
