The Supreme Court has ordered to restore the notification of victory of Muslim League (N) candidate Zulfikar Bhatti from NA-91 constituency.
A hearing was held in the Supreme Court on the appeal against the re-polling of Zulfikar Bhatti. The Supreme Court accepted Zulfiqar Bhatti’s appeal against re-polling.
It should be noted that Zulfiqar Bhatti was successful in the general elections 2018, the opposition candidate Aamir Sultan Cheema applied for re-polling on the basis of fake votes.
After re-polling, Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Amir Sultan Cheema was declared successful, the decision of re-polling was challenged by Zulfiqar Bhatti in the Supreme Court.
A 3-member bench headed by Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandial conducted the hearing and declared Zulfiqar Bhatti successful.
