North Korea conducted another missile test today and at least 23 missiles were fired. One of the missiles fell near the coast of South Korea.
South Korea has described North Korea’s missile tests as territorial aggression, while the South Korean military has vowed to respond strongly to North Korea’s provocations.
South Korea responded by firing three air-to-ground missiles towards the North.
According to a news agency from Seoul, North Korea fired 7 short-range ballistic missiles and 16 other missiles, including 6 surface-to-air missiles.
While North Korea also fired an artillery barrage in the maritime “buffer zone” today. After a North Korean missile fell near the coast of South Korea, the President of South Korea has announced to convene a meeting of the National Security Council.
After the North Korean experiment, South Korea has closed some air routes in the sea off the east coast.
