America: ISIS female battalion commander sentenced to 20 years in prison

The American woman who commanded the ISIS female battalion in Syria was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

The children of 42-year-old Alison Fluke-Akern appeared in court to condemn their mother’s actions.

The woman admitted that she had gone to Syria and commanded a battalion of female fighters called ‘Khatiba Nuseeba’.

The US-based ISIS leader said that female fighters in this battalion were trained to use modern rifles, grenades and suicide belts.

Flock Ekron’s daughter Leila Ekron, who also trained to become a fighter in ISIS, asked the judge in court to sentence her mother to 20 years in prison.

The American woman traveled to Egypt in 2008, from where she traveled to Libya in 2011, later moving to Syria and joining ISIS.
