The Islamabad High Court has decided to constitute a larger bench to hear the Terrian Jade case.

Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court, Amir Farooq, while hearing the disqualification petition of Chairman PTI Imran Khan for not revealing his alleged daughter, said that the Election Commission should tell what is the current position of Imran Khan.

The Chief Justice said that Imran Khan’s objection is that he is no longer a public office holder, he has to confirm with the Election Commission what is the current position, he seeks a de-notification notification from the Election Commission. Challenged the affidavit.

Chief Justice Aamir Farooq inquired from Imran Khan’s lawyers that an objection has been raised on your behalf on the bench.

Lawyer Salman Abu Zar Niazi replied that you are the best judge, we have only presented some information.

Chief Justice Amir Farooq said that he did not excuse himself from hearing this case in 2018 due to personal reasons, at that time the petitioner requested to be placed before a specific bench. We will place the matter before a larger bench.

The Islamabad High Court adjourned further hearing of the case till February 9.
