A memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed between the UAE and Pakistan for the production of plasma.
According to the spokesperson of the Ministry of Health, the purpose of the agreement is to promote the plasma sector of Pakistan in a phased manner.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony was held in the UAE with Hayat Biotech and the Office of Sheikh Ahmed Dalmouk Al Maktoum to promote plasma collection in Pakistan.
Federal Health Minister Abdul Qadir Patel, who participated in the ceremony, said that this memorandum of understanding is very important regarding blood cancer and thalassemia disease.
He said that this MoU shows the government’s commitment to build a more robust and technologically advanced plasma collection infrastructure in Pakistan.
He added that a large number of patients in Pakistan depend heavily on plasma-based treatments for survival and better quality of life.
