Another case was registered against former interior minister Sheikh Rasheed in Murree police station.
A case has been registered against Sheikh Rasheed under the provisions of interference with government and resisting the police.
According to the text of the case, Sheikh Rasheed threatened and abused the police at the time of his arrest. Two of Sheikh Rasheed’s employees have also been named in the case.
According to the text of the FIR, Sheikh Rasheed threatened the policemen that he would not leave them alive.
A case against Sheikh Rasheed has been registered in the complaint of Ashiq Ali, Investigation Officer of Abpara police station.
It should be noted that Awami Muslim League chief and former interior minister Sheikh Rasheed was arrested last night. Arms and liquor were recovered from their possession, after which they were transferred to Abpara police station in Islamabad.
Police officials claimed that Sheikh Rashid was intoxicated, expensive brand of liquor was recovered from his possession, besides M4 rifle, Kalashnikov and automatic gun were also recovered from Sheikh Rashid’s possession.
It should be noted that Sheikh Rasheed has challenged the summons notice in the police station in the Islamabad High Court.
