In recent months and years, Bollywood films have been facing a tough situation and Hindi films are struggling to get good numbers at the box office.
Be it 83 or Vikram Vedha, Shamshera or Lal Singh Chadha, which is based on India’s 1983 World Cup cricket victory, all the big stars are struggling to bring moviegoers back to the theatres.
In such a situation, senior Bollywood actor Anupam Kher says that there has been a lot of change in the mood and sensibility of people regarding movies during the global epidemic of Corona virus.
According to him, the lockdown has changed the perception of moviegoers and now they are more attracted towards real stories.
While talking to an Indian media organization, Anupam Kher further said that during Corona, people got a chance to watch world cinema, so filmmakers should present reality in their story.
“People have changed in two years, so we should reflect on that,” he said. People have experienced a lot of pain, fear and tragedy in these two years and now they want to see a story based on facts instead of fake stories.
