Peshawar Blasts in Police Lines Mosque A case has been registered in the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) police station.

According to the police, the case has been registered in the complaint of SHO Sharqi. Provisions of terrorism and murder have been added to the FIR.

It should be noted that on January 30, there was a suicide blast in the mosque of Peshawar Police Lines in which 101 people were martyred while 49 people were injured.

The condition of 7 of the injured who are being treated at Lady Reading Hospital is said to be critical.

On the other hand, a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) has been constituted to investigate the blast.

The suicide bomber’s organs and other evidence from the blast site have been sent to Punjab for forensics.

After the blast, security has been increased in police lines while more CCTV cameras have also been installed.

In police lines, checking will now be done at 3 places instead of one. Similarly, Field Intelligence Unit has also been established.

According to the eyewitnesses, there were more martyrdoms due to the collapse of the roof of the mosque.
