Renowned filmmaker Anurag Kashyap paid tribute to Shah Rukh Khan in a very unique way.
According to an Indian media report, Anurag Kashyap used the word ‘revolution’ while praising Shah Rukh Khan and his film Pathan.
He said that Shahrukh Khan’s film Pathan has created a revolution in India, today there is such an atmosphere in the cinema halls.
The Indian filmmaker said that thanks to King Khan’s film Pathan, there has been a revolution in Indian cinema halls today, the film released on January 25 broke many records at the box office.
In his latest interview, Anurag Kashyap said that Pathan has become the fastest film to cross the 300 crore mark in India, with people flocking to the theaters to watch the film.
He said that Shah Rukh Khan’s film was facing ban and boycott appeals, but now there is a revolution in Indian cinemas.
The film Pathan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana, has collected 315 crores in its first week in India alone.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film was released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages.
